Push Notifications

Push notifications keep you informed about schedule updates and announcements even when the calendar app is not open.

Subscribing to Notifications

Click the notification bell icon in the header to subscribe. Your browser will ask for permission to show notifications - click Allow.

Once subscribed, the bell icon changes to indicate that notifications are active. Click it again to unsubscribe.

What You Receive

You will receive push notifications for:

• Schedule updates - When a new version of the schedule is published.
• Announcements - When the administrator sends an announcement with the push option enabled.

Tapping a notification opens the calendar app directly.

Requirements

Push notifications require:

• A modern browser that supports the Push API and service workers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari 16.4+).
• Notification permissions granted in the browser.
• For mobile, the best experience is achieved by installing the app as a PWA via Add to Home Screen.
