Publishing

Publishing sends the finalised schedule to a destination so that team members can access it. The desktop application supports two publish targets.

Choosing a Publish Target

In Settings under Publish Target, select one of:

• MP Backend - Publishes to the web application server (see MP Backend Integration). Team members access the schedule through the web app calendar.
• Google Calendar - Publishes directly to a connected Google Calendar (see Google Calendar).
• None - Disables publishing. The schedule can still be exported as a JSON backup.

Publishing to MP Backend

Ensure the MP Backend server connection is configured in Settings under MP Backend Settings. Then click Publish in the Optimisation tab toolbar. The finalised schedule, including persons, tasks and assignments, is sent to the server. The project status badge changes to published (green).

Each publish creates a new snapshot on the server, preserving the previous version.
